Yet another malnutrition project implemented by SNWF, at Palghar District, Maharashtra, aims to improve the health status of young children between the age group of 0-6 years and pregnant and lactating mothers. Wadia Hospitals provide medical intervention for this project.

Malnutrition is a major problem of public health significance in Tamiya block of Chhindwara district. About 13.6% of the children are severely underweight. It is a significant contributor to high rates of childhood mortality, maternal mortality, and morbidities in the community. SNWF in association with Institute of Development for Youth, Women and Children aimed to improve nutrition and health status by reducing rates of acute malnutrition in target communities with a focus on women, infants & young children and other at-risk groups of the population through an integrated, gender equal, environmentally sustainable systems approach to food practices.
